Vrbas, Udruženi turistički razvoj doline Vrbasa

S velikim zadovoljstvom želimo objaviti javnosti da je 27.12.2007. godine Općina Bugojno potpisala ugovor s Delegacijom Evropske komisije u BiH. Na bazi ovoga Općina Bugojno je krenula s realizacijom projekta finansiranog od strane Evropske unije "Vrbas, Udruženi turistički razvoj doline Vrbasa” zajedno sa susjednim općinama Donji Vakuf i Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Kantonalnim zavodom za urbanizam, prostorno planiranje i zaštitu kulturnohistorijskog naslijeđa i Turističkom zajednicom Srednjobosanskog kantona.
Za Općinu Bugojno, za sve partnere projekta i za sve građane, realizacija ovog projekta predstavlja veliki izazov, mogućnost i šansu da se dobiju nova znanja i iskustva, da se prepoznaju i promoviraju naši potencijali, vrijednosti, da bi se stvorili temelji za razvoj turizma koji će na kraju osigurati nova radna mjesta i izvore prihoda za mnoga domaćinstva, žene, za mlade ljude i drugu osjetljivu populaciju.
Realizacija ovog projekta također predstavlja šansu za sve nas da ojačamo saradnju na koju smo upućeni prema geografskoj poziciji i administrativnim regulativama. U prošlosti smo ovu saradnju njegovali i nadamo se da će nam u budućnosti donijeti prepoznatljiv pozitivan imiđ.
Projekat je odabran za finansiranje od strane Evropske unije putem realiziranog poziva za predaju projekta pod fondom EU za Regionalni ekonomski razvoj i razvoj malih i srednjih preduzeća. Projekat će biti kofinansiran od EU do iznosa od 272.095,20 EURA (532.171,95 KM) što predstavlja maksimum 85 % od ukupnih opravdanih projektnih troškova.
Namjena projekta je da doprinese socijalnom i ekonomskom razvoju i da u isto vrijeme ohrabri održivi razvoj i zaštitu okoliša. Ovo će biti urađeno kroz promociju turizma baziranu na kulturnom nasljeđu i prirodnim ljepotama. Ovaj projekat će imati ukupni pozitivni efekat na regionalnu ekonomiju i također na očuvanje tradicionalne kulture.
Pokrivenost više općina u vrbaskoj dolini ovim projektom će povezati investitore da započnu plodonosnu saradnju. Saradnja će voditi razvoju prepoznatljive turističke mikro regije čiji će proizvodi s vremenom predstavljati značajan dio turizma Srednjobosanskog kantona.
Specifični ciljevi projekta su uspostavljanje zajedničkog turističkog područja vrbaske doline, priprema turističkih proizvoda sa ciljem privlačenja novih turista u područje i ohrabrivanje duljeg ostanka trenutnih posjetilaca, identifikacija i promocija historijskih, kulturnih i prirodnih vrijednosti područja, pridonošenje rastu turističke industrije da bi postala glavni faktor u ekonomiji regiona, te priprema zajedničke strategije daljeg razvoja turističkog sektora.
Ovi ciljevi će biti dostignuti kroz dobro koordinirane i sveobuhvatne akcije povezujući zajedno važne učesnike, voljne i odlučne da naprave proboj u turističkom razvoju regije. Projekat će imati rezultate kao što su: pripremljeni turistički proizvodi, digitalizirani objekti i događaji nasljeđa, pozdravne i informacijske table, treninzi i seminari, promotivni materijal, web portal, publikacije.
Razvoj turizma će imati mnoge pozitivne ishode vidljive na kraju projekta ili kasnije: rast BDP-a, smanjenje nezaposlenosti, povećan broj turističkih proizvoda, povećanje prihoda od turizma, također povećanje javnog budžeta kroz prikupljanje turističkih taksi, poboljšanje u kapacitetima i vještinama lokalnog stanovništva (znanje jezika, posebne vještine), manji priliv stanovnika iz ruralnih područja u gradove.
Projekat će također imati mnoge nemjerljive rezultate kao što su: očuvanje lokalnog kulturnog nasljeđa, očuvanje lokalnih zgrada nasljeđa, povećanje svjesnosti o važnosti zaštite prirode kao glavnog faktora turističkog razvoja, poboljšan kvalitet življenja kroz očuvanu prirodu, veći prihod, veći broj kulturnih događaja itd.
Također, želimo da vas izvjestimo da su u toku aktivnosti na identifikaciji mjesta nasljeđa u našem području, raznih građevina (spomenici, muzeji, ruševine, tvrđave, mjesta vjerskog nasljeđa itd.), manjih objekata nasljeđa (fontane, kapele, zidovi, itd.) i ostalih objekata nasljeđa (alati, narodna nošnja, namještaj, itd.). U ove aktivnosti spada i identifikacija tradicije, vještina, običaja kao i lokalne gastronomije, te kulturnih događanja i festivala.

With a great pleasure we would like to announce to the public that on 27th of December 2007 Municipality of Bugojno signed the contract with the Delegation of the European Commission to Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this basis the Municipality of Bugojno started realisation of the EU funded project „Vrbas, Joint tourism development of the Vrbas valley” together with neighbouring municipalities Donji Vakuf and Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Cantonal Institute for spatial planning, environment and heritage and Tourist Community of Central Bosnia Canton.
For the Municipality of Bugojno, for all project partners and for all our citizens, realisation of this project represents a big challenge, possibility and opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience, to recognize and promote our potentials, values, to create foundation for the development of tourism which will at the end ensure new working places and sources of income for many households, women, young people and other vulnerable population.
Realization of this project also represents a chance for all of us to strengthen the cooperation on which we are dependent according to the geographic position and administrative regulation. In the past we have nourished this cooperation and for the future we hope it will bring well established positive image.
The project was recommended for contracting by the European Union through the Call for proposals launched under the EU Support to SME and Regional Economic Development. The project will be co-financed from the EU in the amount up to 272.095,20 EUR (532.171,95 BAM) which represents maximum 85 % of the total eligible project costs.
The purpose of the project is to contribute to the social and economic development and at the same time to encourage sustainable development and environmental protection. This will be done through promotion of tourism based on cultural heritage and natural beauties. The project will have overall positive effects on regional economy and as well on the preservation of traditional culture. Its coverage of multiple municipalities in the Vrbas Valley will bring together the stakeholders to start a fruitful cooperation. The cooperation will lead to development of recognizable tourist micro region whose products will with time represent significant part of tourism in the Central Bosnia Canton.
The specific project goals are establishment of the joint tourist area of the Vrbas Valley, preparation of tourist products with the goal of attracting new tourists to the area and encourage prolongation of current tourists,
identification and promotion of historical, cultural and natural assets of the project area, encouragement of the growth of the tourism industry to be a major factor in the economy of the region and preparation of joint strategy of further development of tourism sector. These goals will be reached through well-coordinated and comprehensive actions bringing together the important stakeholders, willing and determined to make a breakthrough in the tourist development of the area. The project will have results such as prepared tourist products, digitalized heritage objects/events, greeting boards and information boards, trainings and seminars, promotional material, web portal, newsletters.
The development of tourism will have many positive outputs visible at the end of the project or later: growth of GDP per capita, reduction of the unemployment, increased number of tourist products, increase of income from the tourism, also increase of the public budget through collection of tourist taxes, improvement in capacities and skills of local population (knowledge of languages, specific skills), lower number of migrants from the rural area to the cities.
The project will also have many non-measurable outputs such as preservation of local cultural heritage, preservation of local cultural buildings heritage, raised awareness about the importance of the nature protection as main factor for tourism development, raised quality of living through preserved nature, higher income, more cultural events, etc.
Also, we would like to inform you that the activities on identification of heritage sites in the area are under way, such as built heritage (monuments, museums, ruins, forts, religious heritage, etc), small heritage buildings (fountains, chapels, walls, etc.), other heritage objects (tools, clothes, furniture, etc.). This, also, involves identification of tradition skills, customs, as well as local gastronomy, events and festivals.
